At the end of the day

At the end of the day they are just excuses, but I have not been painting or arting due to a house guest. Basically my space is compromised, at lest in my head.

I cannot remember if I ever posted this pic before. these were done over a decade ago I believe, they are(were actually) two pieces done from the same reference material. I should do another (from this pic as I no longer have the ref. material) and see how that looks. I would like to do that in general as a project. I thought that I could use old sketches or ideas to make some lino prints that I still haven't decided on. there are a lot of reasons to go back into old pieces and journals. The best reason might be that there is good stuff to find in there. I have in fact pulled a couple of notebooks to go through at Sketch Night tonight. I am sure something will be found there. r.
