Sunday's work

I am unclear what keeps me from painting at times. There are situations where there is a legitimate need to wait for under layers to dry. Other times I suspect I am procrastinating. There should be more times where I load the palette with paint and just go to town with brush in hand. This arguably is the best part of painting the "fat" application where all the magic happens, when a pictures true nature comes alive. Both these paintings are either ready now or in a day. admittedly smaller scale works require a different set of application techniques but still the general idea applies. More to follow.
