satisfactory

I had a dream the other night that I was satisfied with some paintings and felt they were ready. I suspect that feeling is out there in the waking world but it is proving elusive. There is a quality of painting I cannot seem to bring home that I believe will give me the feeling I felt in the dream. Don't ask me to define or explain what that quality is. In other news: my cd burner isn't working so passing around the taxi paintings to get hung at some cafe or another is currently waiting a solution to that. I have started stretching some new canvases for paintings whose subject is not yet planned. They are two of a size larger than I have done in the last few years (half a decade?). A 4' x 4' and a 3'x 4'. as well as a couple of smaller sized. What to do what to do?
