Hmmmm?
This was originally a post from back in April that was saved as a draft. The topic, if any, was meant to be an update of work. However, upon looking at the top image I realize that I have not thought about it for months. The questions that comes to mind is how can I save it? it was a reasonable idea that just went south (do people still say that?). I welcome comments and ideas. the other pictures pictured have been attended to.

I am not sure about the top image .... is it a representation of a figurine? Maybe it should be clear what one is looking at in this instance. The ambiguity feels like perhaps the painter is just not skilled at representing live figures which I know is not true.
I have wanted to mention with regard to the taxi painting .... there are some beautiful moments in the whole .... particularly DeVito's face. I noticed the same 'moment' quality in the small painting with DeVito in the cage. The cage is compelling. Don't know if that information is at all useful.
