Random mash

I can't say why it is hard to post sometimes. I haven't been arty I guess, reading mostly.
In theory this post refers back here. The connection being that I was using a directional light source for the pic above. I largely did it just to have a reason to mention the older post. The drawing itself was just something to keep busy. I started doing a drawing but fell short on the scale I wanted so i just started messing around. I like the fact that it a departure from my usual but otherwise it has no real interest to me.
Otherwise i am lying low and awaiting a spurt. With the idea of finishing old projects someone said I should finish a story I started but haven't completed. I expect that'll be the upcoming thing. Direction would be nice.
I have been accumulating rusty metal to restart the city of rust project. Finding metal in Seattle is more difficult that Boston for some reason. In other words it is slow going.
I expect my posting frequency will be tied to my art production. So we'll see how long it takes me to post as opposed to reading the like of Kinky Friedman and Ramond Chandler while drinking tea.
