I recall once seeing in an art book a group of three drawings. They were all of a paper bag, a crumpled paper bag. The first was a drawing of the expected image of said bag, the second was a drawing of the crumpled bag itself and the third was a drawing of the bag from memory. Clearly I have not forgotten this set of drawings. These pictures remind me of that exercise. I took the picture before the drawing so they, the picture and the drawing, preclude the expected idea.
