Needs Work

There is not any reasonable way to avoid doing work if one wants to get somewhere in painting/illustration. Often having better technical skill is enough but also there can be an aesthetic goal one is aiming for. In the case of the reworked pieces here there is more to do. I think this is a case where some mix of practice and trial and error is name of the game, so to speak. With that said I am not unhappy with these but they need something else to get them to the place where I will be satisfied. On the plus side it is fun (for me) and possible therapeutic to work on these.
