The 2007 post here brings up the topics of commercial potential and using colored paper/canvas. With that said, there is the whole issue of wanting to have some reason beyond drawing/painting/whatever than for your own self. It is irksome to hear people respond favorably to my abilities but expect me to justify my not making money or selling "art". I admit it may be easier to do so than I realize but it is far more than just being able to do it. This topic could easily diverge into a non art topic so.....
Money aside, showing is possibly a way to satisfy the desire to produce for more than just the act of production. This brings me to the point I have been trying to get to for this post. It appears that I have enough cohesive material that could be collectively hung at some cafe or another. I had asked at a local spot a couple of months ago but didn't have a solid collection. It is all the cardboard work and is conveniently ready to hang by its very nature. I have (better shots of) these, and the one from the previous post, the ones posted today and one or two more.
The E.A. Poe pic doesn't really go here. it is the first of a whole other series. The patron saints of goth. Next on the list is S. Plath. Then some others. More on that later

I hope I have not been asking you to justify not making money with your art .... ouch ... I would like to see it shown, but that seems a different thing ... sharing rather than selling. I enjoy seeing what you produce. I think others might as well.
