Ed Asner

I've just started some classes at the arts students league up on 57th. I am talking an oil class. So far so good. It might be more of a device for me to paint differently (better?) than an instructional venue. It is making me think more about how i do my painting, that is to say the process.
On that note I was messing with an old Ed Asner picture, that is to say reworking one, trying to use the mindset i am trying to foster. It could look more like him but i still like the results. Don't ask me why I have a collection of ed asner portraits, i just do. So, these are the before and afters.
