mistake?

I have added an element to a painting that I was hoping would tie together the compositional idea. The idea was that it was to be a painting about the color yellow. The flowers bush, the cab, school bus and traffic lights were to be a cluster of yellow in a field of muted color. I wanted to tie those objects together so I added a forground bush tendril. I need to tweak it and maybe add more cadniam to the autos to balance the pic. katy says it is now too split, split down the middle.
